Granting Delegate Access to Network Solutions
Granting Glimmernet delegate access to your domain allows us to manage the technical aspects (such as DNS) while you maintain complete ownership. We never need your username or password because delegate access gives us only what we need to do our job. If you’d like to understand exactly how it works before getting started, see our article on what delegate access is and why Glimmernet needs it.
This article is specific to Network Solutions domains. We also have delegate access articles for GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, Gandi, and Microsoft 365.

- Under User Roles & Permissions, click + Add User

Part 3: Multiple accounts
- Select Accounts & Users
- Click the Manage button next to the account you want to grant access to

Recommended access level
Network Solutions offers two roles you can assign:
- Technical Contact — can manage DNS, domain settings, and technical functions, but has no access to billing or account holder information. This is the minimum we need.
- Administrative Contact — can manage domains, hosting, billing, and renewals, and can add or remove other users. Cannot change registrant contact details. This is our preferred level.
We recommend granting Administrative Contact access where possible. It gives us the flexibility to help with a wider range of issues without having to stop and ask for additional access mid-task.
Important note
After you click “Invite”, an email will be sent to a Glimmernet mailbox that isn’t constantly monitored throughout the day. Please email your account representative to let them know you have sent the invitation so that we can accept the account access right away.
